The Task

At the conclusion of this activity:

1. You will be able to explore how technology can improve the quality and the safety of everyone's lives.
2. You will be able to make informed decisions on how to drive safely on the road.
3. You will be able to estimate and recognize what a safe pacing distance should be when driving a vehicle.
4. You will be able to estimate and recognize what a coefficient of static friction between the tires and the road would be for a given vehicle's tire condition and the weather condition.
5. You will be able to estimate and calculate what a stopping distance of a moving vehicle would be for a given vehicle's tire    condition and the weather condition.
6. You will be able to conclude if the accident could have been avoided if the police SUV traveled at a posted speed limit of 25 MPH.
